Two Little "Moos"!!

December 24th 2012

This week "theme" at Take a Word is to make "Moos" - little works of art measuring 2.79 cm x 7.11cm - the last time Take a Word had this challenge was 12 months ago and I still have the 2 Moos I made stuck to my computer screen so I see them every day!! I will have to add these two as well! Images from Gecko Galz Collage Sheets.

And my second ATC uses a Santa image from a great collage sheet from Lily at The Octopode Factory!!

I finally found time to play with my Dilly Beans Images and be able to join their Non Traditional Xmas  Colours Challenge this week!! The gorgeous digital patterned papers are from Gecko Galz and are named "Chocolate Box" and they are very yummy looking papers (I have another creation using more of these papers to share early next year!!) Lollipop girl is coloured with earthy/brown Copic Markers to match the papers.

New Baby Gift!

December 18th 2012

A couple of creations made using the new December Gecko Galz products - images from "Baby Mine" Collage sheets.

I bought some handmade natural soaps in pink & blue from my local health store and "wrapped" them with shimmery corrugated card, tied with ribbon and added the baby images on little handmade tags.

I'm entering these in the current Sugar Creek Hollow "For a Gift" Challenge!

Tis the Season

December 17th 2012

The theme for today at Take a Word is "Tis the Season". I made these little Xmas "scraplings" some time ago using xmas theme embossing folders and some collage images from Paper Imagery Designs - I love the pastel colourings I used to match the images! LOL I love anything with "pink" on it!! I'm really not ready for Christmas as we are so busy with our business at this time of the year - I am just looking forward to getting a day off!!!

Fairy Houses!

December 15th 2012
I'm late posting this for the new challenge!!! I had a slight accident with one of my specialised mowers and nearly cut the middle finger off my right hand!!!!! Not good as I have a very very painful fat swollen finger and black nail which is making it difficult to create or type LOL I am just happy though that I still have my finger - I have a dangerous career!!!!! Anyway here is my ATC and all details of the challenge below:

A new challenge at Wicked Wednesday "Fairy Houses" with our sponsor this week "A & T Designs" as our sponsor. The little fairy house on my ATC is from "A & T" and my dancing fairy is from a Gecko Galz collage sheet!

Happy Holidays Tag!

Have you been visiting the Gecko Galz site each day for amazing "tag" inspiration from the DT PLUS Daily specials from Leanne?????

Today my tag using all Gecko Galz products is the tag of the day and all the details can be found here so pop over for a look and you can also see the previous "tags of the day" as well - there is some real inspiration & eye candy for Xmas!!!!

There are a few "tag" challenges going on so I am entering this at the Craft Room Challenge for their "Make a Tag" theme plus the Frilly & Funkie "Make it a Tag" Challenge!!

Gifted!

December 11th 2012

Another post for today - I am just sneaking this in for the current Christmas Challenges (with Sketches) Challenge which has the twist this week of using the sketch on a gift bag!! I have been wanting to do this for ages so this was a perfect opportunity but of course LOL when you want to find something you never can and I had to go to several stores to finally find the white paper gift bags with handles!!!! At one point I despaired of ever finding them - hence the reason I am posting this with only a few hours to spare at the challenge blog!!!

The gorgeous patterned papers are all digi papers from the new release "Winter Wonderland" papers from Gecko Galz (the little tag is also from the Winter Wonderland set). Make sure you head over to the Gecko Galz site to see the rest of the great new products for December!! The cute little image which reminded me of a Xmas "Turtle Dove" for some reason is from Leanne Ellis' Etsy Store and is called "Gifted" - I thought this image was just perfect for the patterned papers along with the sparkly snowflakes and ribbon I added. I added some spots of silver & clear Kindy Glitz to the image as well for a bit of sparkle! I highlighted bits of the image with soft coloured Copic Markers as I wanted to keep with the theme of the patterned papers.

Santa Bauble!

December 11th 2012

A new sketch challenge at Jacksons Digital Expressions and I've used a new "Santa Ornament" image from Robert Jackson to make this card. We would love to see your interpretation of the sketch so check out the blog for all the details!

Winter White

December 9th 2012

This is my entry for the "Winter White" Challenge at the Rick St Dennis "Sparkle & Glitter" Challenge Blog - of course I couldn't resist adding a little bit of "pink" to my little pennant/flag. The cute little angel image is from Rick's Store and I've been wanting to create with her for awhile now so this was a perfect opportunity! I've used bits & pieces of textured and patterned papers along with some lace, ribbon & satin flowers! Angel image and "Xmas" lettering printed on shimmer paper as you can see from the photos.

Joy to the World

December 8th 2012

A reminder post for Wicked Wednesday plus my entry for the current Just Some Lines "Winter Wonderland" Challenge! Firstly I made the ATC above using the 3 Birds image from Just Some Lines - they are so cute all rugged up for Winter and are perfect for the "Wing It" Challenge at Wicked Wednesday - then I decided to make it into a card and add some more elements for the Winter JSL Challenge. At the moment I have a thing for black backing card and printing images onto Kraft - LOL - I just love the effect!

Background rubber stamped image on the Kraft paper is from a new Tim Holtz Rubber stamp set I got and the white stamped border from a set of stamps from a cheap shop. I added the letters "to the world" and a great flower I made using a new Die-namics die I purchased from Ebay! I love cute images but I like to try and give them a vintage/olde worlde feel when I create with them if that makes sense!!

I am also entering this card at the current No Matter Which Challenge Blog for their "Christmas" theme challenge (and LOL I've used both digi & rubber stamps!!) I haven't played along at So Artful Challenges since I left the DT so thought I would link up there for the current "Bird Life - Holiday - or Winter Colours" Challenge with my little wintery birds!!

Wing It!

December 5th 2012
A brand new challenge with a fantastic sponsor this week at Wicked Wednesday! Stampotique provided the DT with rubber stamp for our challenge and you have the chance to win a prize too just by entering our "Wing It" Challenge - you don't want to miss the chance of a $30 gift certificate from Stampotique!!!! And we are being joined by some of the Stampotique DT Members who have made some amazing ATC's for inspiration as well!!

My ATC uses "Daniel's Tree Topper" & "Angel Definition" stamps along with feathers and glittery stars!!

Bejeweled!

December 2nd 2012

A quick reminder post for our "Framed" challenge at Wicked Wednesday which ends Tuesday. For my new ATC I have used a great image from Rick St Dennis "Rita" and added lots of sparkle to this classy lady LOL!!! We would love to see how you can use a frame on your ATC!

Heavenly Angels!

December 1st 2012

These xmas cards are showcasing some of the new Digital images available from Gecko Galz - these angels are just gorgeous & perfect for my cards which I am entering at Sugar Creek Hollow for their Vintage Christmas challenge. I've gone with a blue & silver colour theme and have "highlighted" the images with soft yellow & blue Copic Markers.
